The official launch of the Operational Programme Human Capital 2014-2020
Operational Programme Human Capital 2014-2020 is providing European funding for a number of key socio-economic areas such as employment, education, social inclusion and health. Therefore, we expect this program will have a major impact on both the labor market and in terms of the skills of the population, social and health service quality, overall, the level of welfare of citizens, said Minister of EU funds, Marius Nica.
The program approved on 25 February 2015 has a reimbursable financial allocation amounting to 4.326 billion euros, of which 4.220 billion coming from the ESF and EUR 105.9 million by ILMT dedicated new European regions with unemployment among youths over 25%.
Operational Programme Human Capital 2014-2020 will become the largest employer in Romania in the coming years” addressing all categories, from youth and continuing with vulnerable groups, single parents, disadvantaged, minorities Roma and so on, said Rovana Plumb (Ministry of Labour)
Present at the event, Sorin Campeanu, Minister of Education and Scientific Research invoked for teachers, reducing and preventing school dropout lifelong learning adaptation to labor market needs, including the investment priorities of Operational Programme Human Capital.
Operational Programme Human Capital is divided into 7 priority axes as follows:
- 3 priority axes dedicated to employment (AP1, AP2 and AP3);
- 2 priority axes dedicated to social inclusion (AP4 and AP5);
- 1 priority axis dedicated to education (AP6);
- 1 technical assistance priority axis (AP7).
The minister said, regarding the timing of the launch, I can tell you that we are in an advanced stage of development of the applicant guidelines for all areas of intervention of the program, following this public consultation to be launched by the end of June.
