Organizing the 1st 2016 meeting of the Romanian Monitoring Committee for the Competitiveness Operational Programme

On 26th of May 2016 Smart Integration and Publi Media Business organised the 1st 2016 meeting of the Romanian Monitoring Committee for the Competitiveness Operational Programme.

For this programme the Romanian Ministry of European Funds has the responsibility of managing and implementing the non-reimbursable financial assistance allocated to Romania.

The Monitoring Committee(MC) for the Competitiveness Operational Programme(COP) plays an essential role in the implementation of COP. MC meet at least twice a year and is represented by members of:
Δ Central and local public administration institutions (including high-ranking dignitaries – ministers, state secretaries);
Δ Socio-economic partners (trade unions, employers, associations);
Δ Civil society;
Δ European Commission;
Δ European financial institutions;
Δ European Investment Fund;
Δ European Investment Bank.
The Monitoring Committee for the Competitiveness Operational Programme will operate throughout the implementation period of the operational programme, namely 2014-2020.

The project “Support for the Ministry of European Funds in FESI coordination and management of COP, OPLI and OPTA 2014-2020 by providing the necessary logistic support for the daily activity” – LOT 3 – Supporting the activity of the General Directorate for Competitiveness Programs (DGPC) for the organization of the first meeting of the Monitoring Committee Of the Competitiveness Operational Program in 2016, on May 26, 2016, in Bucharest was financed through the Operational Technical Assistance Program.
