Marketing strategy and promotion of an integrated tourist product

SMART Integration and Publi Media Business elaborated the marketing strategy for promoting an integrated touristic product within the ”Interreg V-A Romania – Bulgaria Programme 2014-2020”.
Results
For this project we will elaborate a series of documents which will be part of the strategy mentioned above. Among these, we mention:
Marketing profile of the cultural touristic product ”Romanian border at the Romania-Bulgaria cross-border” // Description of the location of the tourist route and of the sites included (on the Romanian side of the border) // Standard and alternative routes to sites // Opportunities to achieve tourism and tourism infrastructure // Methodology used to research the market potential of tourist attractions // SWOT Analysis // Communication campaign // Identification of stakeholders // Marketing strategy // Product strategy // Price strategy // Implementation plan of the strategy // Project monitoring options
Main objective of the project
Defining and developing an integrated touristic product which aimed to promote the roman sites and ancient objects discovered at the Romania-Bulgaria border.
Context of the project
The region at the border between Romania and Bulgaria is characterized by plenty of cultural sites, ancient objects and traditions. One of the most value inheritance from this area is the roman one.
Even if in this area in the last years there were some investments in the tourism sector, the development of an integrated touristic product specific to the roman inheritance wasn’t targeted. As a consequence the beauty and cultural value of this inheritance is known at this moment, only by the local communities.
Project benefits
→ Harnessing the potential of the cross border region for an integrated touristic product in the eligible area ;
→ Developing and promoting a touristic route in the roman ancient citadels from the region;
→ Improving the use of cultural heritage;
→ Contribution to the economic development of communities;
→ Sustaining the cooperation between the local communities and between both states at the border.
